That sounds good, too. I once used some of my home made blackberry jam and it worked as well. I think the combination of spicy-savory and sweet blend is the main idea.

I have a recipe that can be done in a crock pot or in the oven. I have also made it with little smokies. Sour kraut (I can my own) placed on the bottom of the crock, one cup ketchup, 3/4 cup brown sugar, Worcester sauce, garlic powder.... Mix and pour over meatballs or lil smokies. Heat on low 3 to 5 hours or until hot and bubbly! Mmmmm
