Good thoughts are being sent your way Boomski, keep my fingers crossed that it all works out for ya.
Last two runs Ilve listened to Type O Negative...oddly enough, it actually works to run to them. :/ Currently pursuing individuality. |

RE: Listening to..(2)
Adele ~ 21.
After seeing her on the Grammys, I was intrigued; I have been listening to it quite often since. In a world consumed with illegal downloading, it is understandable why her album has now sold over 17 million copies: amazing. |

All I can tell you right now is that its not good, but I need a bit of time to get some confirmation and to assemble my thoughts. Its awful hard to put into words just how hard this is right now given the circumstances. RE: Listening to..(2)
Earlier I was listening to our local Rush tribute band, Anthem. They are really good. I spent most of the show watching the guitarist's left hand (he has very long, thin fingers.... which I do not). But it does help me learn to watch a song being played and he's fantastic. He recently got an AL ES-355 (eeek!) and he let me check it out after the show. The fretboard is too wide for my itty bitty hands and the action is harder than I'm used to but it's a sweet axe. They had added NatSci and Distant Early Warning to their set and are working on La Villa (he has *the* guitar so they have to!).
The drummer looks nothing like Bubba (the other 2 actually resemble the other fellas with their wigs) but, really, it's too much to ask for a drummer who can play Bubba's stuff *and* resembles him (you could probably get one or the other but not both). There was a guy in the audience who was wearing a Bubba hat with the S&A logo. He said he had it specially made. So of course I told him about the B&G hats! Hopefully I made a sale
... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |
