Favorite albums? I never tire of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Foxtrot, and Nursery Cryme. Love the Peter Gabriel records with the 'original' band.
Nung: don't forget Steve Hackett's solo work too (Hackett to Pieces).

Not to worry! I believe I have every Hackett album including the classical-themed titles like Midsummer Night's Dream, the CDs with his brother John, etc. Hackett is the man!

I have pretty much everything in the Genesis-related catalog (except Mike and the Mechanics...they never really did much for me).

Sm- g/p is great though I hated it back then-love it all now-age does that I suppose.

I really have to delve into some more obscure genesis. I understand that more recent Deep purple is worth checking out.

This week I revisited Zebra-the 1983 release- what a great record for an underrated Long Island bar band. Randy Jackson, the guitarist and vocalist is so cool and down to earth. I've had the opportunity to hang with him while he was doing a local acoustic gig. They started as a zEp cover.

songs to check out are "just one more chance" and "tell me what you want" and " I said it before."

"Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then."
"Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup."
"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."

Lately I have been re-visiting that progressive rock trio from Canada that has science-fiction related lyrics...

...you know, the band "FM." Their best is "Black Noise" but "Surveillance" and "City of Fear" are fairly good.

(You thought I was speaking of ANOTHER reasonably well-known Canadian trio, didn't you!?)
