Treats for our 4-legged Friends
Dog Biscuits

2 cups oat flour
1 cup flour
3/4 cup ground white rice
3/4 cup powdered milk
3/4 teaspoon garlic
1/2 cup canola oil
2 eggs
3/4 cup water

Mix altogether. Roll out, cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and let cookies cool in the oven.

Ahh! I've got a bunch of recipes stashed away on the hard drive. My dog-puppies all like my num-mums!

I'll have to take a look also. I think I have a few that start with baby food puréed meats.

Actually, N'awlins'... one of my quirks is that I enjoy eating dog biscuits (much to the disgust of my family), and RN's recipe sounds pretty darn good! Surprisingly, the best dog treats I've tried are the "generic" ones in the bulk foods section. My dogs don't seem to have a preference. Tongue

My sweetie always taste-tested ours to make sure they passed muster before feeding them to our god-puppies. :-)
