Hey - ya gotta count the coupons!!!

My first bottle of Balvenie was purchased like that. The local shop where I get most of my libations from gave me a coupon for 25% off any bottle of scotch, and that coupled with another 15% off for new members let me pick up a bottle of 15 yr Balvenie for under $40. I think its the $80 bottle.

I almost wish I had grabbed the Balvenie 21 year - but Mrs B was watching!

Nice find! I love the expensive ones (ex: Macallan 18) but I also enjoy finding a great value. For me, that's one of the greater joys of this exploration.

While preference is for the single malt, the wallet cannot always afford
for taste Cool That being said, my best buy on Scotch came over the
holidays in the form of those little gifts packages.
Our local CVS store had 18 yr. Chivas but didn't have it priced -- so they
sold it to me at the price of the 12 yr. old.
"Thank you. I'll take all three ! "
$195 worth of booze for $75.
"Cha-Ching ! " Big Grin

My Brother and his Girlfriend found a 21yr. Macallan at a "discount" liquor store. The price...2 Mr. Benjamins, 1 Mr. Hamilton and 1 Mr. Lincoln. He then asked my Hubby if he needed a bottle or 2.

While casually looking at your fingernails, "Oh, we'll just take however many you have on hand, and make it snappy, we left the Ferrari idling outside"
