Those are the Cadillac of Porta potties though! Big Grin

Looks like a fantastic time, thanks for the pics.

I brought a real camera for the show tonight, since the Iphone can't hack such extreme light differences. I will be posting on Facebook tonight, the show starts at 7:30 pacific time....

You gotta take care of your life."

Wow!!! What an amazing show - the guys were just on fire! And there was much shredding and blazing and we heard and saw that it was good. The crowd was singing with everything and, aside from the usual drunks, was having a grand old time.

Bubba really outdid himself. His solo was longer than usual... maybe 5 minutes or more. He really made sure that we got everything he could give us to hold us over until next time. It was awe-inspiring.

My daughter brought her girlfriend who is a newbie to the band. Well, we have 2 new Geddycorns to add to the family, now Big Grin

The only sad thing (besides this being the end of the tour - but the boys deserve a break) was that Bubba didn't see my fantastic sign that I spent a lot of time on. I guess we were just too far to stage right. But this is what it looks like:

Maybe next time......

Thank you Bubba and company. Enjoy your time off - you earned it and then some. Can't wait for Clockwork Angels!

If no one would mind, I can post a link to some flicks I took of the evening. It sure was fun, and everyone seemed to be in great spirits. I could tell there was relief and anticipation of relaxing as the last show of this tour wound down. Still 100%, though. The gorge is a unique experience, even after repeated shows. I was about 21 rows back near center, and was very lucky to get a t-shirt that was hucked into the morass. Rad.

I'd love to see them, Snapdad. We were a bit off on Alex's side so didn't get very many nice ones. Did snag a couple of Bubba during the solo, though!

RE: Saturday, July 2nd @ The Gorge
Sounds like it was a memorable experience. The Gorge has always been my favorite venue. The last time they allowed my purty tush in the States was Test For Echo.....then the merde hit the fan. I'll never forget, after a long hot day, pulling into what is surely the most unique concert venue of 'em all. It also did not hurt a bit to spend a wonderful half hour in a hot tub overlooking the river from that amazing vista. But I was with y'all in spirit. Over the next few days I'm going to start putting together that photo sharing site...still working on how I'll do it. But one thing I am considering is setting up a dedicated place within that site for fans to share their pics too. I think that would be cool. Still working on how I'll do that too. Nice to be back and catch up with everyone. Seems like we have a great group of people with whom to share and interact. Whew! Nearly ended that sentence with a prepostion. Bubba wouda bin all over me, sayin'? Peace all and hope everyone southside had a great 4th.

Sacred cows make the best hamburgers.

I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughtnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, 'Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".'
